A tip for doing this is to create two saves before you start playing/simming games. That way if you want to play with another team, you don’t have to switch out the regular teams for classic teams again.

MyLeague is really,really fun. It isn't competitive so you can't test your skills. But maybe thats a good thing. Its relaxing. There is no lag, there is no spamming, no toxicity, and you generally have full control. The CPU can be a bit crazy at times. But if you find the right sliders downloads made by the community, its great. Thanks bringing attention to this mode.

Ah, I remember that. So in that league, for whatever reason, that roster was messed up and the Warriors minutes were set to have the starters play all 48 minutes every game. So when I played them, I ended up beating them cause the players would get tired and Kerr wouldn't sub. To make sure they didn't make it to the finals (and avoid a boring series where I win because of a glitch), I ruined the roster and switched guys positions so they couldn't make it.

Myleague is all I play every year I create a custom roster with all my favorite NBA legends mixed with today's players, then I do a fantasy draft with trade approval on, I turn player moral down very low so players on the bench don't get sad, injury off, upload real draft class with the real upcoming players like Zion, Morant, RJ. Always on Hall of Fame difficulty, and it's always fun

I've done this a few times already and its one of the most fun things to do in 2K! I did one with the 98 Jazz and actually managed to win the championship that time, but I tried 2 with the 01 Lakers and the 04 Lakers, both times I got destroyed in the playoffs because of the 01 Kings. (I'm not putting them in again, I seriously hate playing against them) now I need to figure out a new team play so I can give it another shot!

This is dope. What I’m doing is I pulled 120 players from the historic draft classes and split them up into 4 different drafts. Then I start a my league and every year a draft class of rookie legends come in and it’s actually really fun seeing who I get and how different teams play out.

I took MyLeague and did a Fantasy league with all players, no duplicates and moved the storied franchises to the middle of the draft and made sure to put rival teams close to each other. All teams started contending in the 1st year and it has been awesome ever since.

I remember when I used to see people playing my league and I just used to think my tf do they play that’s weak ass game mode until I started myself Basically what I do is I pick the 2019 draft class then I’ll go over to prospects go all the way down and edit the worst player to how I want them to be Then I aim to the end of the season and see where they get drafted to so I can control that team Some of the extra things I do are having the coach call plays automatically getting realistic sliders so I won’t drop 60 point trip dubs every game and I turn on player lock so I only have to control my player it’s kinda like mycareer with more freedom

MyLeague is without a doubt the best game mode in the game. Like you can't even argue against it, there's an online mode, it's not pay to win, you can tweak it however you like, customize jerseys, arenas, shoes and gear. You can play every game or sim every game without having to worry about all the mygm cutscenes while still having the same mechanics. You can do an online mycareer and watch your player naturally develop badges and attributes over the years. Myself personally I've created a league with autogenerated players and then the gameplay instantly is an 80's style of basketball, overtime I'll add playerDNA to certain rookies and watch the game change. I'm definitely preaching to the choir here but I cant say enough good things about the game mode. It's a shame it's not even a top three priority for 2K.

I’ve made a cool roster and have built a great league around it. Add one legend to each current NBA team, completely up to you who you choose. You can have rookies, prime players BOTH. Just look at the current roster and how you can improve it. I even add a few free agents to make it interesting. Increase cap space as well because it can get expensive. Give it a try, I’ve done lots of different fantasy league and some great drafts also.

I’m doing something similar in 2K18, but I made sure that every franchise that has a historic team got represented in some way (Pelicans and Wizards being the only exceptions). I control every team so I can keep an eye on their rotations, but I don’t pick a side when playing games. Finals series is between the 96 Bulls and the 02 Kings. As of writing, the Kings are up 2-1 (Webber is giving Chicago a real headache)

custom roster. fantasy draft all time players NO DUPLICATES (youth or best, your choice), , no salary cap. These never get old, adjust the roster before you start the league so that each team has their BEST playbook they ever had. So the bulls are running the 96 playbook, the lakers are playing showtime 87, the celtics are running their 86 playbook, the magic are running the playbook from 95, etc. The game flows differently, very enjoyable to watch or play
