How to set up a Library in Kodi

Is there a way to add a movie folder instead of individual movies to the library, i.e. Popular movies or In the theaters, so that a constant flow of movies flow through to the library?

Louis Michael Salsbery - you are right there is no "home folder" when using a android box and not pc. instead of home folder follow the below instead while watching the rest of his video. External storage, Android, Data, org.xbmc.kodi, files, .kodi, userdata, library, tvshows, ok hope this helps

+SeriusJade I figured it out pretty easy actually.... main thing you will need is a file manager to create a folder like "movies" or "TV shows" then go into the add-on that supports library integration ie "Specto fork" and set path in add-on settings to the folder that was made in the file manager. then just add what you want that's it😉

hey for you guys that cnt find the files in kodi on your Android devices, you need to go to system,settings, apprerance, scroll down to file lists and make sure the show hidden files icon is highlighted then follow above instructions 😀😀😀😀

I am using a Amazon Fire Stick which is Jailbroken. The issue I am having is that it is not letting me create my library and when I go under expert mode to look at the settings, the library setting is grayed, is there a way to turn this on so I can create my library or do I just have a bad jailbroken fire stick, but kodi and all works great.

WHITETIGER had the same problem. Using other Add ons I belive you have to use specific ones like SALTS.

you need to create a home folder....by going into your files manager and put in .... special://home and then just name it home...and there you have your home folder
