Hi, no, there are two different types, one with and one without. Unfortunately, they are connected with zips, so not sides are not compatible with the one without...

Hi, we were actually quite surprised. The structure itself is very sturdy, but the sides do flap a bit in the wind. When wind has been really strong we have just taken the sides off and it remained in place no problem
