I had a NASCAR game on my Nintendo GameBoy back in the 90s that had excellent AI. If the Japanese can do it in 8-bit greyscale on a tiny processor, then I’d think BeamNG could do much better using modern technology… at least that’s what you’d think.

they could do it no problem that's not the focus of the game it's meant to be an extremely realistic car simulation not a racing game its more like the Minecraft of car games like the do whatever you want car game with godtear physics but the AI option in the game just spawns a bunch of cars with pretty good AI so you could just do that

This is one of the slowest ways to set up a race. In the editor, you can spawn groups of cars in grid patterns with the click of a button.

You have to do exactly the same as for the latemodel mod, you have to extract the skins in the "vehicle" file :)

The AI will try to follow the same speed, sometimes it can be really janky with the braking zones
