Hey Jay, straight up question.. i see your rocks have brown algae on them, is that from the actinic light? i get that brown algae in my tank whenever i use actinic, not when i use a 12k 'exotic pro panorama led' on my brichardi tank.. read online, actinic in the 450mm to 460mm range promotes algae. is that true? i have a current 14k/453 light. will they give me brown algae?? thanks, asap, oh and am looking up the zitlight..

Hey Jay, great video. What are your thoughts on the aquasky 2.0 v plant 3.0 for an African Cichlid tank? Thanks

Great video and very informative!! Your tanks looks awesome!! I am planning to get the Fluval 3.0. What do you think about the Finnex planted +? Is the any better than the fluval 3.0 or Current USA satellite pro? Also, Where do you get those rocks in your tank? They look 🤩

Hi Jay! Great video! Question: I just saw another video of yours (older) where you said the tank lights shouldn't be left on for more than 8 hours a day, which I follow. Does the automated light cycle (sunrise to night) in the Fluval mean I can leave the lights on all the time? I'm looking to replace the fluorescents that came with my tank with LEDs. Thanks!
@Jaywil074 жыл бұрын
Yeah you have to adjust! Thanks for watching!

Yes it can and yes it does. However what you see is a mixture of algae and other organic matter. It makes it more natural and is not a pain

Do you have a link for the Current USA Satellite Pro? The remote looked like it said it was a plus pro, and when I searched, I cant find any 48 inch for around $170, more around $270 or more, thanks

72 by 24 by 24. Two 36 inch 59 watt or will one 48 inch be enough light. What you think. Thanks

How would I set it up for a 6ft tank they don’t make my size
@NittanyFins5 жыл бұрын
Jay...question...I also am setting up a 72" long light....some are recommending I get 2, 36" light bars. But, I notice you have one 48". Do you have any thoughts on this? I am looking at that Fluval 3.0 light for my tank.
@Jaywil075 жыл бұрын
One light is perfectly fine however if you do want more of an even light displacement then you would get 2 36”
