How to Set Up an Antminer S9 with Slushpool and Braiins
This video is on how to setup an Antminer S9 from start to finish using Braiins OS+ and Slushpool. Slushpool are the creators of Braiins which is an aftermarket firmware that allows for much more control over your miner than stock firmware. Every aftermarket firmware charges a developers fee and what is nice about Braiins is that when you run it, they wave the pool fee so you aren't paying both the developers fee and the pool fee. -Working S9
-APW3++ Power Supply
-Power Cord for Power Supply
-Ethernet Cord
Steps to Setting Up S9
1. Connect Ethernet Cord to Router and Miner
2. Connect Power Supply to Control Board and Hashboards
3. Plug in Power Supply to Outlet
4. Search for Miner IP Address with Lanscan (Mac) or Advanced IP Scanner (PC)

5. Put IP address in browser and login into miner with root as username and password
6. Sign up for a Slushpool Account

7. Go to worker tab on Slushpool and click add worker
8. Put pool info into Braiins interface and click "Save and Apply"
9. Wait for miner to start up and check Slushpool is recognizing miner

I did all that but it shows state is disabled but showing hash rate, how do i make it active?

Great tutorial! I'm having an issue with one of my S9's where the "Hardware Version" and "BMminer Version" are blank in the Overview tab. All my other S9's accept Brains but this one doesn't. I tried following a guide from Bitmain called "S9 & T9 series miners: no hardware version found or BMMiner" but with no luck. Have you ran into this issue before? Any suggestions?

It may be a bad control board. Let me explore some more and get back to you. Easy fix though is swapping control boards.

@@kaboomracks Found the issue! It was some setting in my ASUS router that blocked the package traffic from connecting to a pool! Took me an entire week troubleshooting that😅

4:57 I only have the [auto] option and cannot change it or add any other name. My miners are online but slushpool says “disabled”. I don’t know what the issue is, but it’s really annoying.
