Ok. I just checked in with Mercado Libre's Global Selling Program leads and told them some of my subscribers have questions and comments about trying to enroll. They said they just created this survey for you to fill out. survey.mercadolibre.com/jfe/form/SV_0VTDerZ9M1blFhc?PN=GTG They are doing their best to get companies onboard. This is what they just wrote me: Our goal is to get a better understanding of US sellers, their current relationship with our Global Selling Program, and their interest in expanding their sales to Latin America. We are trying to understand: • Sellers Business Model used to sell internationally • Openness to experience MELI Global Selling Program • Barriers and needs for MELI to be a sales channel to sell in Latam We'll use the insights we get from the survey to improve our Global Selling Program. Also, for those sellers that match our seller criteria, we will assign a Key Account Manager to onboard them into our platform. The survey link has a partner tag to identify your sellers. We'll receive answers until Tuesday, November 8th.

How long does it take for Mercado Libre to approve your application? Can you help for the process?

Mercado Libre has been extremely slow in responding to requests. It is almost better to go to with a local agency that already sells their clients' products on Mercado Libre. We tend to like meetings.hubspot.com/comercial-solucionet?Growbig&ST. but I am sure there are others. Hello Carol, That is crazy. Ok. So Mercado Libre has been a little bogged down and said they are working through the process. But you are not the only one who has said this. Have they responded since you posted this message? What are your products? Can you post your URL here?

@Cloud Ray, have a look at my comment I made here for Asif. I can check with Mercado Libre but I have not heard that they will do the global selling program from Uganda. What types of products do you have? How much would you expect to sell monthly? In terms of total sales value or total volume? Where is your inventory? Do you have or would you set up a company in the US or a country in Latin America? I really want Mercado Libre to open up this opportunity across the globe but it is slow going.

@@cloudray227 They are not looking to onboard sellers for this particular program outside the US and China. But this is just the cross-border global selling program. You can always register and sell on each country's Mercado Libre store. But you do need to have a local company registered in each country you want to sell in if you use their local program.

@@cloudray227 Cool. These marketplaces might not be up for that but you can try. I think if you can build a LATAM audience in Instagram and then sell from your IG account using "off instagram" check-out to drive buyers to your website it could be a good angle. But so much of this is dependent on having the audience.
