Can I use Wacom Intuos Small Graphics Drawing Tablet with Mac and photshop under the same conditions as your excellent video?
@edufrancisco Жыл бұрын
Do you have any tips on how to resolve this issue of disconnections and loss of pen detection on the graphics tablet surface, please? I work with the updated driver version of Wacom Intuos Pro PTH 460, Photoshop 2023, and macOS Ventura 13.4. I've already performed all the procedures for installing, reinstalling, cleaning, and updating the macOS, Photoshop, and Wacom systems. Nothing solves it.

How do you assign different colors to a shortcut so when you are drawing you can quickly change colors?

I don't think you can connect shortcuts to specific colours. However, if you use the colour smatches on a smart way, you can quickly toggle between colours.

Um I do have a big problem and I still can't get through it, please help me! When I use the pen to draw in Photoshop, I can only draw once. Once my pen leaves the tablet, the brush turn into "pulling the canvas" automatically. So if I want to draw, I have to keep pressing B… But if I use mouse or the touching tablet on the computer, there is no such problem. BTW, my tablet is also PTH660 M, and the computer is Mac. Do you know how to solve this?
@ReVoNDesign3 жыл бұрын
Hey Christine, never heard of this problem before. Do you gave an official PS or a cracked? If it is a cracked that might be the issue.. Else I would suggest to reinstall it, might do the trick or contact Wacom support.

i have a question. Why is it when you make a stroke , the beginning is small, then the end is solid? instead of solid then it gets thinner as you release. like for example when you draw eye brows you draw from root to tips in a real pencil. but in wacom or any other drawing tablet, you need to draw from tip to root.
@ReVoNDesign4 жыл бұрын
Most logical answer to this is the pressure you put on it. The harder the press, the thicker the stroke. I would suggest to play around with the sensitivity settings until it is as you like.

the shortcut control + option + click and drag doesn't work on my photoshop, the color picker option appears. If I right click the brush option opens but I need to normally set up the features. Do you know how can I set up this shortcut? :(
@ReVoNDesign4 жыл бұрын
Hey Analice, lets see if I can help you out. Are you sure you press control + option/alt? When using a brush just pressing the option key should enable the eyedropper, but control + option/alt should not. Another option would be to change the shortcut yourself. If you go to Edit --> Keyboard Shortcuts --> you will find all the shortcuts in Photoshop and edit them manually.

Thanks a million for all your tips, they're really helpful and your video, voice, editing, etc.. is just awesome! Just a question: on the Brush Setting on Photoshop, in the Shape Dynamics section there's a warning icon (triangle with exclamation mark) next to the Control setting that says "Control by pen pressure requires the use of a pressure sensitive tablet". Does that mean than Photoshop hasn't detected my Intuos Pro Large? It's been properly setup in Windows 10 and all the panels and settings work well so just wondering if Photoshop needs some kind of tablet detection activation or Preference to be set up. Many thanks.
@ReVoNDesign4 жыл бұрын
Hi there, that's weird. The pen pressure is working on your tablet? What you are saying would suggest that it does detect your tablet, but it doesn't detect that it can use pen pressure. To be honest I don't have a solution for your you, other then reinstall the tablet or/and photoshop. If you are using a cracked version of PS, that might be the issue then. Hope you can fix it, good luck!
@LTR20254 жыл бұрын
@@ReVoNDesign Many thanks for the prompt reply, I really appreciate it. Silly me, that warning icon was showing while using the mouse to set up the brushes on Photoshop, however as soon as I grabbed the Wacom pen and started moving over the tablet, that icon was gone. Funny fact that Photoshop detects what pointing device is being used, They might reword that warning message though. Mystery solved anyway :)

Hi Revon. I got a Wacom but when I try to draw, it seems like it is drawing in a 45 degree angle. I can't seem to draw like a straight line (vertically). Is there something I need to adjust or it has to do with the angle adjustment in the brush tool of PS? Thanks.
@ReVoNDesign3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dee, you mean when you hold shift? That might be because the initial movement is more towards the 45 angle then the striaght angle. IF this is not what you mean, please explain a bit more.
@deenugent4733 жыл бұрын
@@ReVoNDesign No, let's say I'd like to draw some hair (vertically, up and down), but the stroke always seem to draw at a 45 degree angle, not perfectly straight. It's a bit hard to explain without actually showing you, unfortunately. I believe it is something in the configuration, but I can't seem to figure it out yet. Thanks for your quick reply!

@@deenugent473 Hi Dee, to be honest I don't really understand what the problem is sorry about that. If it's not suppose to happen, what could work is reinstall everything. what's your suggestion for the best setting on landscape or photo retouch? I need to control the brushes for manual masking and for light editing like glow etc.
@ReVoNDesign4 жыл бұрын
My suggestion would be to make sure you have a great amount of control. For example, if you put the mapping really small, you will have less control. Besides that, it's try and error. The beauty of these products is that there are no 'perfect' settings. I know you probably wanted a straight answer, but there isn't haha.

@@ReVoNDesign thanks :D Just a question, when you use the pen like a mouse, is it normal that you need to take it lifted from the pad? it's a bit unconfortable.

@@kangaxxoc Yes, you have two options on that matter. It would suggest to use the "Pen" option and change the mapping area smaller. Like in 5:25 in the video. At least, that is what I prefer.

Every single tutorial including this one skips from driver installing to TURNING EVERYTHING ON. IT IS NOT SIMPLE FOR BEGINNERS. My god. How does no one understand that there are a LOT of artists who have never set food near a computer much less use a remote screen. I am having major issues just opening photoshop on my tablet or even understanding how using remote screens work. There is a massive gap in this info FYI. I am almost ready to send my table back. Another video that promises a walk through of SET UP and doesn't deliver.

Hii Roberta, I understand where you are coming from. This video is not a complete guide on how to install en use photoshop. I would recommend you to first get familiar with Photoshop before learning the Wacom tablet. About the remote screens, that is when you have another screen connected to your pc or laptop.
