Hey there, you're welcome! Not a silly question at all! Setting up email marketing with Omnisend will only affect pop-ups on your Shopify site, not Instagram or Facebook directly. Pop-ups appear on your store to collect visitor emails, which Omnisend then stores for you. This means any email addresses you collect will be saved in Omnisend's platform, where you can create and manage email campaigns. It sounds like you're very close to launching! I'm Julia! This is what we are doing in this tutorial. Opt in form means choose to join, so people can opt to your email list. These can take form of pop-up and emails. In this tutorial specifically, we are focusing on pop-ups. In the settings, you will find options to create different types of opt-ins. You can create flyouts, landing pages, and pop-ups, all of which are opt-in options available in Omnisend that will appear in your Shopify store. So, if you create a pop-up, it will appear on your store while customers are browsing.
