In this video we teach you how to set up Eufy Security Camera or the Eufy 2C Security Camera. The Eufy 2C security camera is a battery powered wifi video camera that allows you to remotely view video footage from your cameras on your phone. The Eufy Cameras have both day and night vision in 1080 HD video. You can view the live stream of the video on your phone or watch recorded footage from your camera.
The Eufy Security Camera also allows 2 way communication so that you can talk and have a conversation through the camera.
The Eufy Security Cameras have built in rechargeable batteries, which are easily recharged by plugging them into the provided charging cable. The Eufy Security Cameras come with a base station and cameras. The base station is what enables the security cameras to connect to the internet. Great setup vid. I had a bit of trouble syncing initially and found this which really helped. Decided on a battery camera rather than wired 24/7 setup due to power demands of hard drive base units. Not insignificant these days!

I just bought the 2C 3-camera setup, and this worked perfectly. Thank you for this. My only real gripe is with Eufy and their video doorbell. Not really a gripe, per se, just kind of annoying. I have the HomeBase 1 for the video doorbell, and the HomeBase 2 for the cameras. You cannot run just one home base for both, you must run both HomeBases for all the cameras to work. So, the camera HomeBase is set up in the office near my modem and switch, and the doorbell receiver is in the living room. Camera quality is exceptional, albeit it's only 1080p. As for the camera battery life, I cannot comment because I use third party solar panels with a Micro-USB charging cable connected to them all the time, and the cameras stay at 100%. Makes it nice because I have a separate monitor in my office connected to a Samsung smart phone via DeX, and I can view the cameras in realtime on a 42 inch TV anytime I like and not have to worry about unnessarily draining the camera batteries. All in all, great cameras, and thank you for this setup video.

Just attempted to set up my new Eufy, unfortunately, one camera was dead. When I was charging it didn’t light up. I assumed it was fully charged. The other camera I let charging until I was gonna set up system. All went well until I had to sync camera. No sound. Completely dead. I went ahead and submitted for an exchange. Bummer.

does the communication from homebase to camera use its own wifi signal, or does it piggyback your local WIFI ? Reason for the question is because I have a large house, and have WIFI extenders throughout, so was hoping to get the range it would use the local WIFI

pretty sure the homebase is what puts off the wifi signal for the cameras. the connection to your modem/router is just so u can view it over the internet.

They have a snooze mode in the app. It won't record any motion for the option u choose. I think the options are snooze for 30min, 1 hour, and 3 hours

ask a tech to run the network cable for wired cameras . it is a good investment for your property. and price wise, it can be same price as wireless cameras . difference is you will have cables for good with one-off payment. thanks
