For anyone having trouble with the Configuration Path put the JavaFx libaries in ModulePath and not in ClassPath so it works

Good tutorial but the step "Adding JavaFX to Eclipse" didn't work as shown in the video. For Java FX 17 and Java JDK 17, you need to put the "JavaFX SDK" and your "JavaFX" in the Modulepath. Otherwise, it won't recognize it. Or maybe I configured something wrong but now it works for me. Also, the JavaFX SDK file was already in the Modulepath so I am wondering if this was changed for some reason or if I did something wrong in my configuration since I am no expert :/

I discovered a new simpler solution, not sure if it will work with everyone with future eclipse updates, basically you install the latest jdk( because if you install an old one the new eclipse will fail to detect plugins even if you install them from marketplace), then install eclipse, then you install jdk 8( because it includes javaFX ) then you add it to eclipse and you use java se 1.8 when creating a project and it will work, and that way you don't have to use the arguments on each project you do.

It works only if you add ( for Windows) in ClassPath JavaFXSDK, NOT in ModulePath(delete it first from ModulePath and then add JavaFX SDK to ClassPath).

WORKED!!! but my issue is when I start a new program, and I put in the same VM argument, it doesn't run. but it still runs on the original program that I put the VM argument in. edit: nvmd got it. you just have to repeat the user library and running configurations parts again! thanks!
