Our son just received a Jedi Challenges VR and as soon as it gets plugged in the images are glitchy and it looks like it's having a seizure. Have you ever experienced this or know what's causing this? We have tried with an iPhone 6S and an iPhone8 and both have the same issue. TIA!

With what you said about the lag from phone getting hot is that reason for lightsaber getting uncalibrated cause I find most of it happening after half hour like you said and any other tips on how to deal with lightsaber losing calibration

multi dryder Unfortunately no ☹️ Once that happens the only thing you can do is give your phone a break for 15-30 minutes.

It could potentially be the magnetic material issue, so just try moving metal objects away and turn off electronics

Got the game home today and had some problems with my OnePLus 6 but after some googling and fixing (and the cursing that comes with that) I finally got it to work. The game looks great, feels great. The VR effect seems to be there even though it is AR. And the headset is really comfortable even though it can become a bit heave after a while.

Samuel Queen I’m not sure an entire video on that is necessary. All phones have 1 of 3 connection types: “Lightning” (used exclusively by Apple), “USB-C” and “Micro USB”, used by everything other than Apple. Star Wars: Jedi Challenges provides you with all three connection types, so that you can play no matter what type of phone you have. Use the one you need, and store the other 2 away somewhere in case you get a new phone one day, or have a friend come over and they have a different phone. Does that make sense?

Hey SkyGuy, having an issue where my beacon seems to go out randomly... have you experienced this before? If I flip it back forth it turns back out but frustrating it goes out... also... is it always supposed to be glowing pink or does it turn off sometimes?? Great videos and keep it up!

I actually had this happen to me last night. Try changing the batteries! My batteries were low, causing the beacon to switch off by itself and my game to suffer. It's supposed to always stay on, and make sure to always keep it in Mode 1 (PINK).

multi dryder multi dryder yep that’s a big problem. It’s gets worse if you play for a while at a time. If you give your phone a break for 20-30 minutes it won’t get out of sync as often.

Hey Sky Guy, I initially set up the game yesterday and everything worked fine. I change nothing and play today with everything working except the volume no longer works. I have an IPhone 5 SE if that is relevant. I went back into the setup and the volume is up all the way. I have Bluetooth enabled. I do not have a headset separate from the phone. In the game setup I checked that 3D thing to see if that changed anything and it did not. I set it back up like it was. I turned off my phone and tried again with no change. Can you help me?

elviskess Make sure the ringer is on?? (The side button) When you get a phone call or a text, do you hear your phone ring? If not, then that’s probably the issue. Otherwise, I’m not sure 🤔 Make sure your phone and game are updated to the latest versions. Then try a “Force reset” as Apple calls it. It might be different process for the iPhone 5E so google it and give that a shot. That’s fixed things for me in the past!

Billy Ferguson think I may have figured out Billy! When it’s says ‘press any button’ DON’T press one on the lightsaber, press one on the headset (bit misleading). Make sure you’re about 2 meters away from the tracker. Think it helps that you’re phone is fully charged too. Let me know how you get on. It is a bit glitchy.

Billy Ferguson After further trial and error and nearly throwing it out of the window I think I’ve got it. Do the set up on app, sync lightsaber etc Press ‘launch’ button, put phone in tray and the tray into the headset and connect it. Put headset on. Press any button to continue (think button on lightsaber does work). Then, AND THIS IS THE KEY BIT, stand perfectly still and focus your gaze on the white circle. The menu should then appear and not be bouncing around. I’ve tried it 5 times and it works. Glad I don’t have to buy my nephew something else for Christmas. Hope it helps.

Does anyone have problems charging Rey's light Saber hilt?. Because I have paired it by Bluetooth to my pc which says battery level 100%. However, when it is paired to the game an setup/ Started, it Says in a RED Box.. Battery Level Low!. The battery level bar is about 1/4 battery left. Is Windows giving a false battery level or is the Game giving a false battery level reading?. I have tried charging it via micro USB into my PC but the red charger light goes out after about 5-10mins.. Even setting up the game again still says "battery level low". Any Advice?? :) thanks
