Hello my fellow people of the internet. So ive been trying to learn how to install tailwind this way for months. This mans video was the best one. Now if your like me a lot of these tutorial videos tell you to download node js. When i tried this the first time it didn't work that's because on my mac Os , i had an outdated version . So the fix was me downloading a previous version of node js that was compatiable with my OS at the time. then node js was able to be installed via terminal. Hope this helps. !!!!! - Z

Hi@@abishek_25, I am not sure, where you got stuck. I think it might be some thing like you forget to build the 'tailwindcss -i ./src/input.css -o ./dist/output.css --watch' command. However i am adding the command step by step: 1.npm install -D tailwindcss 2.npx tailwindcss init 3.change 'content' of tailwind.config.js as : content: ["./dist/*.{html,js}"], 4. add src/input.css, the below code @tailwind base; @tailwind components; @tailwind utilities; 5. run 'npx tailwindcss -i ./src/input.css -o ./dist/output.css --watch' after compiling once, add the above commad in package.json under scripts. "dev": "tailwindcss -i ./src/input.css -o ./dist/output.css --watch". everytime you start server you need to run the command' npm run dev'. I think that is main part may be you are missing. 6. dont forget to add 'output.css' in your index.html file. like [ ] my folder looks like: folder1:dist has (index.html, output.css) and folder2: input.css

Yes, this is it! A short but working guide on how to set up Tailwind. I've been searching for this for ages. I do have a question though, is it alright to put input.css and output.css in the same folder? So that there aren't much directories to keep track of.
