this worked great on my COD thanks. But what about the games where I can't assign 2 keys to one function? Is there just a way to have the diagonal be a mix of of A,W instead of using shift?

Tartarus was a great intro to game pads. Azeron cyborg 2 is next step up with way more keybinds harder to lose your keys from far reaching. The tartarus is stronger and better built though.

So I knew how to set my stuff up and got use to it just from learning myself but this my guy this 💪🏽🙏🏽 god sent. I was already putting in work now I’m really about to put in WORK. Also mines for some reason want work for my Mw3, it only goes forward and back but not left and right, it’s the only game it does that in. Do you know why?

Sounds like the game just hates you lol. No, honestly I have no clue. Sometimes it’s a matter of updating razor synapse. But is it working for BO6?

My English is not the best, just so i understand :) With setting like this will it function like a controller thump stick? All that is required is the game supports 2 imputs, for the same action?

So why would you not use the available analog function I saw in the razer synapse menu on your screen? Does it not work?

It confuses the game into thinking you’re using a controller. So it won’t let you use your mouse. It’s honestly pretty dumb. They’ve gone a long time without patching it in a way that people can just use the joystick out the box. So pretty much that is why a video like this has to exist because it’s not simple unfortunately.

@@ThatsNashty Why couldn't you just use assigning combo key presses WASD for the synapse settings? Like W forward, S Back, A Left, D right, WA Forward Left, WD Forward Right, SA Back Left, SD Back Right (Your version uses the crtl keys and navigation). Or is this not possible because of Combo Keys Requiring Ctrl? I don't own the Tarturus, debating about getting one but I know the joystick not being a joystick is my biggest issue with buying it hence my research. So I can't play with the settings you show in the software myself lol. My main concern is for games like gta. I'm generally okay with using the WASD keys for walking around but driving is a paaaiiin. The Azeron is super pricy and I don't think I want to switch and learn a new format even if it is easier in the end, plus its 3D printed so worried about their overall quality after multiple years. But I want to make driving games and other games with a joystick type controls more fluent. I'm amazed there isn't better options out there or why Razer doesn't have better options that target this demand.

@ you definitely could do that but I like to keep my controls as basic as possible. If you want to bind other controls it’s just a little less of a headache.

I haven’t seen whether that game has dual control input but I looked into the control scheme and it has A LOT of different key bind opportunities. So I would confidently say yes. Especially if you can bind 2 buttons to the same action.

Yes it can substitute a keyboard on console games that allow it. HOWEVER I’m not confident that you’ll like the way the joystick feels. I haven’t tested it but I sorta doubt you’ll be able to use the joystick for movement.

I’m not sure that it has out own memory to carry it over to console. Your account for razor would hold the memory.

Yeah, I followed the exact steps and it didn't really work. Im a pretty tech saavy guy too. It semi-worked in that the standard 4 way D-Pad Movement works but if you hold any diagonal movement it doesn't work. It may be on a game by game basis. Im honestly baffled as to why they didnt out a real movement stick in there. Ive always wanted to play with a setup where you have the movement of a controller but be able to aim with a mouse. The search continues haha

Oh WAIT i did the left control and right control in Synapse but not in game. I only rebound the arrows in game. I'll give it another try after work and update

Yeah other than AAA titles it’s not super common. That’s usually when I default to using a controller or god forbid my keyboard. But I’m lame so I’m usually playing AAA so it works haha.
