Good video. I never candle my eggs because taking them out and the temp differences can kill the embryo. Also accidents happen like dropping the egg by accident just enough to crack the shell. Better to just be patient and find out later on hatch day.

Is the turner supposed to keep turning or does it stop and start back up on it’s own or do you have to press the plus and minus each time you want to turn eggs

Do you set the days to 17 or 18 for your quail? I am incubating for the first time with the nurture right this weekend and this is really stumping me. I’ve heard 17 days, I’ve heard 18 days. I’ve heard lockdown at 14..I’ve heard it on day 15. Is this just the difference between people that count the start day as day 1, and the people who say it’s been one day after 24 hours?

Hello I used this incubator in NJ it worked perfectly! But now Im in Costa Rica and Im triying to use it with equail eggs But the humidity is super high and I havent put water in it! Do you have a recomendation?
