You should have added THE cut in time adjustment? ITS a bit more advanced setting only entered by holding a couple a buttons while starting THE SZ. Then U Can use THE left track select Rotary to change THE cut in time in addition to just adjusting THE cut in curve. especially THE more advanced turntablist Will need this for even sharper cut in times are required for flares and crabstule scratches. Other then that... Thumbsup up

i have one of these units, but one deck i can't get it to scratch . i've done as you instructed . it just keep moving foward . can you do a video showing how to correct this problem

Im waiting for the SZ3 i own the SX2 which is a great bit of kit dont get me wrong but i want the larger jog wheels saying this i will try the SX3 out before i get the SZ3.

Have you checked out the DDJ-1000 or are you wanting to stick with Serato?

@@digitaldjtips ive never seen or looked up rekordbox i started with my first controller on traktor pro 2 then went to serato as its with the pioneer ddj sx2 at first i didnt like somethings about serato but ive got used to it now and changed how i save songs in folders. I have looked up the ddj 1000 but im not sure if i like how it shows everything in the middle of the jog wheel. Is there something i should know about the 2 that you would like to share?

Nothing in particular other than the jogwheels on the DDJ-1000 are excellent if you don't want to wait for a new Serato controller :)

I can't figure this out either on SZ2! apparently you need a flat headed screw driver but I don't have one small/long enough :(

I BOUGHT THE sZ BUT I THink i have an issue the filter knob should decrease the low signal to zero but when i turn the knob to al the way to the "left" i still hear the low sound.. but the high cut is cut totally..

@@digitaldjtips eh it seems like it designed like that that the volume doesnt get reduced all the way.. which sucks.. but i found another issue.. since i am using virtual dj.. my PFL doestn work properly.. or i would say the mapping deosnt exist.. at all.. although they say.. that the mapping exist but its unsuable if your PFls dont light up properly....

@@digitaldjtips ever used DJ-Sz2 with vrtual dj?.. do you have the mappings for it.. i tried to use the one on virtual dj site.. since i boutght the software.. but as i said.. the PFl.. lights light up.. when there is no musc through the headphones (or they are called the CUE buttons ON THE MACHINE).. AND ewhen the light is closed i hear music through my headpones.. and there is an issue alos with the headphones mixer that has the things a bit in reversed there too.. but when i look at the mapping of the PFL button.. i only see.. PFL: pfl................. so basivcly there is no mapping at all there!!!

@@DjJohnnyTheripper Sorry no we've never used it with Virtual DJ, I'd check in on the VDJ forum if you're having issues with mappings etc they're pretty good with this kind of stuff :)

Digital DJ Tips - Thank you for answering to my question - I am using a Pioneer Sz. I do have all my music files in a uexternal hard drive. (I dont inow if thy is the problem) After got the Serato Pro software - I started to set up mu cue points track by track. But later going back to the tracks i did worked before ... all the CUE points did desapear, they wasnt there any more!

Too many problems with this machine. Connection, driver updates etc. Not worth it.

Long as I get my money back it's ALL GOOD. I DID figure out a way to get the cross fader working in a way that makes it easier to Transform though. I'll share it after I get my money back.
