I recently bought a Eureka mignon Single dose Zero Retention. What is the appropriate setting for the espresso grind, depending on the type of coffee?

Hello, I'm going to make a purchase, but I have two questions and your answers will help me. The first one: is it advisable to use a funnel when grinding in the filter holder directly with the Zero and if the answer is yes which one? I have the impression that it would not pass. The second one: considering only the espresso quality criterion (I only drink espresso), is there a real difference in cup size between the 55mm and 65mm burrs? (Grinding speed is not important to me).

Regarding your second question, we kindly ask you to tell us whether the geometry of the burrs you have taken into account is the same. This is because it’s the burrs’ geometry to really determine taste quality differences. If the burrs have the same geometry but different diameters, you’ll find a slight taste difference between them, so slight that not many are able to notice it. Hey I know this is an old video but I hope I can get some insight. I tried taking apart the chute but wasn’t able to get it apart. Do both screws have to come out to disassemble? The one on the far left and the one on the right near the dial? Thank you in advance

I have a dumb question but what is the reason of turning on the grinder first and then open the gate to let the beans fall? Can I just put the beans in there and then close the gate so no popcorn will be observed?

@@eurekagrinders9555 I think I might miss explained it. As I saw in the video, the guy put the beans in(but at this moment, the metal tab is at the status of close), and then turned on the grinder, and then opened the metal tab, right? If you're saying running on empty will damage the engine, the process in the video is running on empty... I actually bought an Mignon Zero that's why I'm keep asking this lol, I want my grinder used correctly.

@@leonardliu3256 Dear 😁, thank you for the interest in our product and for the question, in this case the engine runs on empty just for few seconds, just for the time to open the tab and wait for the coffee beans to reach the grinding chamber. The damage to the engine can be caused in case this works on empty for prolonged time. If you have further questions do not hesitate to ask, we are here to help you with any doubts

How do you remove the screw under the hand wheel? It's too tight with a screw driver. The screw you are not showing at 2:39 ;) Can you remove the hand wheel easily?

Dear Dino 😁, thank you for the question, with the name hand wheel you meaning the dial? If so to remove the dial , it is necessary to turn the dial in the "coarse" direction and than you can remove it easly pulling it. Let us known if this suggestion had help you, Eureka team 😄

Eureka Oro (Single Dose) has 65mm burrs. Quite a difference to 55mm burrs of the Mignon Zero!

@@LarsGoldbachDPI was gonna buy the oro at a steeper price when I saw reviews showing it vibrated so much it sometimes moved on the counter. The zero got great reviews from the bunch I found and appears quieter and less lroceu
