I stay away from all the usual rom emulator stuff intentionally. So this legit free to use stuff pulled me in here. I am just lost how to get that file. I have already built some folders otherwise.

It does to various degrees. Some feel great and have full support, others don't have any. It just depends on who developed the table. Most feel great.

Any update on release? I am dying to play Doctor Who pinball, excited to see it in the list! @@drwraith3405 I see on the table list not all games are running 60 frames. Is it still pretty playable?

@@ProjectReality64 For sure. There isn't any flipper lag, its just the lower the frame rate, the harder it is to follow the ball. So far these are far more playable than the Zen tables. There is some gameplay videos here and there. I may upload an example tomorrow if I have the time.

How long before Atgames comes along with a firmware update that bricks this functionality, took almost 6 months to get mine working again after the 5.7 update. Finally got my 5.68 working again with awesome sauce V2, no more updates allowed.

This is the process so far. On release it will be a bit more streamlined, but there will still be some steps involved.

@@drwraith3405 Seems relatively simple as long as you just go slowly, step-by-step, the first time. So the thumb drive needs to be in the blue port on the back? Not the other one? If you already have an FDX drive in that port, you'd have to unmount it and put this one in instead? Yes? Does it automatically see the tables when you hotswap the USB? Or does the 4KP have to be off or rebooted?

@@peteg475 Has to be the blue port, so you would have to remove the FDX in that spot. I just got a USB extender running from the back to front to easily swap out. I wanna say they are like 7$ on amazon. Once inserted as long as you followed all steps, a new row should show up with the installed tables. No need to reboot.

If you think this is insane.. you should probably stick to the AtGames provided pinball tables. This is virtual pinball and the process is easier in comparison to setting up a PC but it's not going to be as easy as downloading a table from AtGames. If you go down this path you're going to need to learn how to use VPX... if you aren't interested in learning then it's not for you.
