Superb video. I’m an older guy and learning everyday. I went fishing yesterday and my rear seatbox leg Sank down because I didn’t check it properly. Nearly went on my backside. My glasses (cheap ones but had a spare pair) flipped off the tray into the water because I was disorganised. I also struggled with landing net trying to swap over from right to left with a fish on. So yes I’ve a bit of work to do but your video is a great help so thanks. I had a great days fishing despite it all.

Great setup advice, as it’s so easy to arrive at a new venue and rush the setup only to then make a mistake and spoil your day. Like the new kit and setup looking good..👍👍

A wonderful tip on the landing net set up Ben, never thought of using my pole roller, usually have mine on the bank at right angles, but sometimes you pick it up and it gets stuck in a bramble root that you didn't see, most annoying. I will be using your set up from now on.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this and how you've set up your new gear. From watching some of your previous videos I know you're left handed, but you have your feeder rod and reel set for right hand use. Is there a reason? Keep up with the videos, they're good..

Hi Ben just started watching your video and i noticed that you look to be quite a short person and if so I'm glad because I am too , I'm 5 ft 2in tall . you look comfortable on that box . Being that fishing tackle is so expensive I really have to shop around I would ask you whether you have tried out any fishing chairs , I am looking at the Matrix deluxe chair and I am wondering if it would suit me being that i have short legs depth wise when i'm sitting in the chair ?, look forward to your reply.
@Angling4U3 жыл бұрын
Welcome aboard! Robert yes that's true 5ft 5 I do prefer the box having everything to hand. I can get on with chairs especially for the pole ok with rods. The matrix is good so is the middy

All the gear no idea, hope to find your second hand gear on e bay. Are you a millionaire or what? You've had or owned every bit of top kit I've ever seen. But never seen you in the results. Very pretty mate.
@Angling4U3 жыл бұрын
Not quite lol. You wouldn't of seen me in any results as I don't fish matches for 1. The channel is about getting all levels of fishing members the advice they need, this video as per requested by a subscriber. Nowhere near all the gear out there (I'm trying), I swap so I can bring new content to the channel. As far as been a millionaire it would be nice. If you have any ounce of intelligence you would buy & sell which I have done £1600 spent £1400 re cooped so £200 for all new gear bargain in my opinion.

@Northstar-Media2 ай бұрын
@Angling4U I fish like that. I think its due to fishing with pole & swing tip at the same time when I was young. I'm trying to change to right hand with pole aswell because to hopefully make things easier.
