Thank you for your comment but if I did that the video would be 30 minutes instead of 16 minutes in order to keep the viewer interested. This is why I do have other videos that shows various launch methods.

What if by mistake you set up your bar backwards? Red to Blue and Blue to Red? What would happen in the air in that case?

You might end up at the hospital or hurt someone.

First: Just don't. Check your connections multiple times after you've set up the kite before launching. Second: Steering will be reversed. If you have experience and realise what's happening REALLY quickly, you might be fine by just flipping the bar upside down. If you don't, and you probably won't, you'll try to countersteer the kite, which means you will steer the kite more to the side it was already going, which means you'll crash the kite in powerzone if you're lucky and get into an uncontrolled deathloop if you're unlucky. In both cases you'll get dragged along with a lot of force and hitting everything in your path. A less spectacular result might be that you can't launch the kite, because you're trying to steer it up which means you're actually steering it down. If it gets airbone though, you're in trouble. BTW: this is for connecting blue to red or vice versa. If you connect steering lines to where the powerlines should go or vice versa, I have no idea what's gonna happen. Not a lot of good things I reckon.

Is this a video for beginners to learn how to setup a kite? Hopefully beginners won't follow examples like connecting the leash in suicide mode, going kiting in On-Shore winds or self-launching through the power zone! Some big safety concerns here for beginners following some of your advice.

This video is for any one who needs to know what to do in case they want to launch a kite and they are by themselves. You have so many ways to land and launch your kite. So do it as you please. Same thing with wearing a helmet.

I Agree with Kite Bud... tis video explains 15minutes of how to set up the kite even showing why it shouldn't be upwind of you (making me laugh so heard I sort of choked on my juice)... The people that learn something from this video might not be able to know that they should NOT put the safety up like this, so will become misinformed. Since it wasnt explained it when showing it. I find this dangerous. It is no unimaginable that more than one of these 46733 viewers become misinformed..

@@Keeblly Guys I am sorry but who are you???????? Just so you know, you have so many ways of launching kites. This is one of the ways. If you think it's too dangerous then do your own videos with a different way of launching your kite. Plus connecting the leash to the ring becomes 2 security system, one that depowers the kite 90% and the other systems kills the kite 100%. So in the video I am connecting the leash not as a suicide mode because if you let the bar go it will depower 95% of the kite and if you want to kill the kite 100% then you push the eject cap.
