My wife has 3 project vehicles, 2 Trans Ams and a Suburban. It's good to have them involved with this shit, because if they ain't into it, the marriage will be short lived. Gearheads gotta have gearhead friendly wives, it just works out better that way. An old G-body is a good choice for a runner, been one of my favorite platforms to build since back in the 80s. Easy to make them fast, used to be cheap too, but the bodies are getting pretty high these days. I still have a 79 Cutlass tucked away I used to run, been sitting for 17yrs now. Gonna save it soon tho. Had a series of rowdy 425 & 455 Oldsmobile engines go thru it. I've owned it over 30yrs.

Cool Video man! I always enjoy learning super tuning tricks from your video's! The El Camino has a big camshaft man! Tys Monte is kinda a bullet proof set up that can run for a long time like that! Can't really beat a flat top 355 Chevy engine for durabilty! Super cool project for you all to build your wife a Hot Rod! Man there was just a 1980 Monte Carlo factory turbo T Tops with bucket seats that sold on the Athens Ohio Craigslist. That would be a cool car man I wanted it but have to many projects! I just proved to alot of people you don't need alot of camshaft to make good power I have a big block 427 with a steel crank GM dimple rods forged 30cc dome piston and my compression is about 10.3 to 1 AFR 265 oval port heads with a Howard's hydraulic roller that's only 235x241@50 and 618 lift with a Victor Jr. And a 950 last week my motor made 661 hp and 605 torque not bad for a pump gas that I can drive anywhere it's going in my 88 monte carlo SS alot of people think a big crazy cam makes alot of power when it's more about the combo sometimes less is more a 70 LS6 only made 450 hp
