How to set your vang in a laser

+beralder9 Yes absolutely! Actually you should adjust your vang constantly, adapting your trim to the conditions. Wind strength, wave height, heading and speed, are changing all the time, and therefore also your optimal trim setting.

@@bondmode You need an easy way to adjust it all the time and you'll become addict to it.

@@MaximeBertrand02 whenever another boat is near, put on a really serious face, and tension and untension your vang whilst looking up and down the sail - that's the way to look like a real sailor :)

I've seen it. but its kind of the same. strong wind pull a lot of rope from them, wind from the back release both, light wind release a little bit from both

You're absolutely right! that's the main setting for the both of them. There are some differences with waves vs flat water, we will try to explain that in a more advanced video.
