I have 1 betta tank and a boxer with skin and food allergies who requires expensive food and shampoo for her skin. Plus, she gets a pro & prebiotic every morning as well as Claritin, then at night she gets apoquil (60 bucks a months 😔) and 2 benadryl because the apoquil apparently isn't strong enough to help her fully. 🤦🤦 On top of that, she often licks her paws until they are raw and yeast filled so she gets prescribed chlorhexidine blue soap for her paws and chin. Don't even get me started on the freaking ear medicine she's prescribed because the allergies make her itchy so she scratched her ears and gives herself bacterial ear infections all the time 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 basically, boxers are SO cute and SO sweet, but don't get them because they are known for skin issues 😂

My same situation. I’m a 17 year old fish keeper, I have two black moors and I keep them in a tub with a filter and aeration. I have them for more than a year now. They are doing pretty good and healthy with a big space, but I really want to keep them in a 50-70 gallon tank which I couldn’t afford since I’m just a student and I’m too shy to ask for money to my parents. So here I am telling myself to finish school and have a decent job first so I can afford my dream tank. Loool

Beautiful natural set up! fish will be right at home!
@cambuxton68352 жыл бұрын
Make sure you setup your plants at least 2 weeks prior to adding fish. So the plants have time to get established. With some live plants you do not need substrate either. Anubis petite, anubis nana, and duckweed can be left to float in the aquarium or pond. The anubis can also be tied with cotton string to driftwood or decorations with cotton thread. The thread can be removed when the plant has attached itself to the object. But be aware that anubis grows slowly..

Would this setup, with the same supplies used, be able to support cherry shrimp? Your tank is very pretty!
@CreativePetKeeping6 жыл бұрын
I think so! Always double check that the fertalizers that you might use are invertebrate (shrimp) safe..but overall ai think everything should work. I would recomend aging the tank a bit. So letting it run with cycled media with everything set up for a bit so small bits of algea and other organisms that the shrimp eat have time to reproduce and populate the tank.
