Have you ever connected the voltmeter in reverse way, does this module measure negative voltage.

I have one of these, it doesn't work in reverse. I tried connecting it and it still worked afterwards so didn't ruin the device, just did nothing!

Battery in first (4.3v) indicate that its state is in almost full charge the 3.7 v is floating state of the battery
