Hi! I've watched many of your videos and really like them. I have a Sessions clock and it has a different looking j hook than some that you are showing. It is more of a flattened piece of metal with the end folded up. It moves when the minute tab gets to the hour but it holds it out too long and the clock strikes too many times since the arm that needs to go back into the long slots in the striking wheel isn't released quickly. Can you help?

I'm looking for a Japanese Takano wall clock. I saw it on eBay but was outbid. I had a picture of it but it's on a cell phone that no longer works. It was ebony with long grooves in the wood vertically and beads of wood like a pearl necklace I think. I'm wondering if there's a book out there that I can go through and find the one I'm looking for. I found out it was a Takano by the Maker's Mark it had on the face. I have two sessions clocks and I'm trying to watch your films to figure out what might be wrong with them- one has an extra L-shaped wire inside of it and the spring on one side doesn't connect to stay wound I guess. You take the whole mechanism out of them or can you work on it with it inside the clock? It's real close to working.

Hello, can I show you my clock problem striking is not at the correct starting time, it is Junghans W277 and I made a video about the problem, why start 2 minutes before it should be and keeps striking may about 3o times, very strange?
