KillerReaper150 Gaming thanks! Horsfield can make lovely pets. You need to consider they are the ninjas of the tortoises. Good at climbing, tunnelling and fighting. Their weakness is getting grit in their eyes, growing too far from too richer food and maybe being a little grumpy sometimes!

Hi in my opinion a spur thigh Ibera or Herman’s make slightly better first breed. Horsfields can be good pets if you spend a lot of time with them and confident with tweaking enclosures a bit more but they can sometimes cause worry as they can dig, climb and want to be dormant in height of summer and in spring and autumn.

Look up kut exotic petz. He has a 6 ft by 6 ft enclosure for baby tortoises and they cost less than $50 and that’s with all the substrate included and the water bowl.
