Hi, everyone! So, i've linked my ps5 controller to PC via Bluetooth, tested it in other games, it worked. But in PPSSPP it doesnt work at all, when i try to push any button while binding controls in settings, nothing happens, emulator just doesnt see my gamepad. Please, anybody, help me with this

You can't use an additional Ps controller you would need to use a controller base on Android/iPhone

Question here maybe someone can answer, been looking on google but cant seem to find a solution, I have a controller that has a terrible D pad, so I want to use the analog as D pad, when I go into settings I do the same like in this video just on the D pad part I set up my analog stick, it works, but the problem is it only recognizes up, left, right and down, It does not register for instance when I want to jump forward in a game so up plus forward does not register if I am using the analog stick, that has happened with a couple of controllers so I am not sure if it is the controller itself the problem or if its the software that for some reason can only register up or forward but not the combination of both when set up as the analog stick since with the regular D pad there is no problem.

When using D-pad normally, you have to press up and forward, but with analog stick, you can't combine two of them, because you cannot map top right of the analog stick, but in D-pad you can easily press up and forward together. That's why you can't replace D-pad for analog stick but you can replace analog stick with D-pad.

@@godsbattle thank you very much for the answer, it will save me the headache of trying to find a solution that does not exist, guess ill just have to buy a new controller with decent D pad ahhaha bought a cheap one to use for my emulation tv box, but the damn D pad is terrible and games are unplayable if I don't have access to the analog stick.

You can try this trick, use your L3 as up and forward D-pad. Add L3 to up and forward keys.

@@godsbattle Thx for the tip, it has been a headache so I gave up lol, it is very weird since if I use retroarch with the ppsspp core I have no issues with my analog stick, I can use it normally as a D pad, but in the stand alone ppsspp emulator just like you mentioned it is impossible, only work around I have found is when games have native support for using the analog stick, I just have to be sure to check the options and turn it on, still had to adjust the analog settings since out of the box had the same issue that the command forward and up didnt register because of the dead zone, might be issue of my crappy controller tough, but once I set dead zone to 0 it was working with out a problem. I would use retroarch instead of the stand alone emulator just because it has better controller support (also better looking shaders) but sadly don't know why my NVIDIA TV shield does not work properly with the core + retroach version I currently have and don't want to go trough the pain of figure out what build and what core actually works well for my tv box since it will probably mess up my other cores and games if I manage to find a fix if there is one, on my PC the core works flawlessly and prefer it over the stand alone version.
