Did you run the tailwind server? Also use Chrome browser only as other browsers may give issue.

Hello! I have a question; I followed the guide and were able to set up tailwind. However, after using it for a while, i noticed that the only background colors i could use in views.py was black and white. I went over to tailwind.config.js and saw; " * This is a minimal config. * * If you need the full config, get it from here: 'url' " I tried copy pasting the full config into tailwind.config.js and then run the command; "python manage.py tailwind build" with no luck. Do you have any fixes? :)

I think it's related to tailwind config only, did you try restarting both servers and use control +F5 to refresh the page

@@Apoorvpandey Ah, thanks for the tip! When i tried loading the page in another browser the background color loads fine! Probably some extension, or a setting i have switched on causing it to not show in firefox. :)

Beginner here.... why would you install node.js if you will be using django?

Good question, We are only installing Node for tailwind CSS to work properly, no part of Node is ever interacting with our backend in any other way.

It basically clears the cache for that page and reloads from server. So essentially your old non working site gets cleared and new working one gets loaded on browser

No, you are wrong, to achieve same level customization on bootstrap you need to compile sass with gulp or web pack which is a huge pain.
