You will need to create an Azure AD tenant and set up an Azure AD Domain Services (Azure AD DS) instance.
Next you will need to create a new LDAP directory in the Azure AD DS instance and configure it.
Once the LDAP directory is set up, you will need to create a trust relationship between the on-premises LDAP directory and the Azure AD DS instance.
After the trust relationship is established, you will need to configure the on-premises LDAP directory to synchronize with the Azure AD DS instance
Finally, you will need to configure Azure AD DS instance to use LDAP as the authentication protocol

Why do we need ldap setup if using azure ad. Can you explain Microsoft does its own authentication

Why do we need to use ldap for azure ad can you please the explain the why. Microsoft does its own authentication that’s built in correct what would be the use of ldap at this point

I think that if you have an application that can make use of LDAP, you can use this instead of having it bind to your on prem DC.

@@blakestone75 how we can do that if there no On Prem DC , and people will work on there Privet laptop and there will be a Application that will use Ldap how can i make them able to reach the ADDSS ldap

im getting Stuck here , i have Configured everything but its work only inside Azure if they on the same V-net , i was asking what should i do to make the People who will use there own privet laptop to be able to reach AADDS without DC , i can use Specific IP range because they will be from different location any Idea , Please share with me your Email address to reach you
