Hi Vamsi, Here I am just taking Nginx as an example to monitor Nginx if you have webserver installed in GCE. You can do the same thing with Java application too.

Sure, Conceptually they all are same but GCP monitoring obviously has better integration with GCP services such as GKE etc and also you can see the logs in the stackdriver itself coz of the integration, as opposed to Nagios or other tools. And one must look at the APM capabilities of both. Generally 3rd party tools are used when there is a requirement for multi cloud.
