Honestly, I hated this piece of ...arcade fantasy. It reminds me of the heli's in GTA5. But today, April 8th, 2021, this helicopter has updated into one of the most exciting things to ever...ever hit the world of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2021! Keep it up boys, doing a great job.

The doors are controlled with an switch on the overhead panel, or you can use the interior door handle.

I just used the default xbox button which is in the centre console mfd. use button A to increase throttle and B to lower throttle, left and right trigger for rudder and left stick for yaw up n down, right stick for left and right turn. works a treat.

I cannot control the collective pitch to in- or decrease lift. I only get more lift, when I apply more throttle. But that is not how it supposed to work. The helicopter blade-speed, or throttel should be always around 100% and only the collective should change the lift. I am using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro flight stick and I have mapped the propeller angel on 2 buttons (decrease and increase). It does not work as mentioned earlier. Do you have an idea?

Did you ever get the pitch on the rota blades to work correctly??I’m asking as I have the same problem with my puma x trainer collective, for some reason msfs wants you to map the two controls the wrong way around, as you said the pitch control does nothing, but you have to use the throttle to gain altitude, it’s all very strange.

I have a thrustmaster usb joystick I want to map as the collective. For the main flight controls I am using a T16000m joystick, for the pedals I am using a thrustmaster TWCS throttle and pedals There is no collective control in the game. mapping up and down is not the problem, just mapped to what? I have setup both the H135 and the Robinson R44 and both load ok. I am just stuck on the collective. Aldo I get stall alarms when I try to hover. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the video. I can't control the yaw, do you have any advice? on the ground, both pedals works fine but as soon as the helicopter takes off, pedal doesn't move so can't control the yaw.

Hi buddy, sorry for the delay. It seems the latest patch might not work with the button input for the throttle, instead use the first approach I used for full throttle (not the small increments required before)

To shut the doors on the right hand door their is a black handle click the mouse on it shuts the doors

Latest update seems to not work with small throttle increase, swap it out for normal throttle and it should work.

Hi m8 quick question ive downloaded it from the site it states just to put it in your community folder but when i run the steam version of msfs its not showing up to select it, any help would be great

Steam or ms store? & make sure it has been extracted (just the folder).

I think i know what the problem is its not easy to explain but ill try. After downloading the file you extract the file ( which im sure u did) but dont drag that file to the community folder. You need to click on it first then drag the folder inside that one ( it has the exact same name!) Over to yhe community folder and you're good to go.

Has there been some weird update that has broken this or something? For some reason I cannot find this in the aircraft selection. Pretty sure I have installed it properly. the folder is in the comunity folder but nothing shows. Getting a little annoyed to be honest, as far as I can tell nothing is stated on the site about it so no idea.

I downloaded it today and have had no trouble, unzip the file you downloaded, and put not that file, but the file inside the file you just extracted in the community folder, I hope this helps

I assume you failed to understand the difference highlighted? The older xbox controller sends trigger signals differently to the game than the new xbx controllers do (which refuse to allow that input to be passed in). So depending on which xbox controller version you have will dictate which setup you can use.

@@SimUKReviews unfortunately I am overall a bitter and twisted man that was expecting more from MSFS, I don't use an Xbox controller I use a force feedback flightstick, I don't fly from the external view and I was expecting a decent flight model. Its nothing against your helicopter, but picking through tutorials for Xbox controller users that won't help me and my setup anyway seems like a waste of time to use a Helicopter in a a game (simulator is a stretch) that I'm rapidly falling out of love with.

@@lewandellful The internals of the helicopter are yet to be modelled (haven't seen latest patch) make sure you have a blank profile to start

Eventually sorted it out. Your throttle assignment to increase small did not work for me. On applying power nothing happened. That was why I was having problems even though I'd switched on fadec. Changed throttle assignment to just increase throttle and that worked.
