Great vid as always simon just bought my first mcu with a 8 way relay board for my irrigation project. I was going to use flashed sonoff minis but this is a much more cost effective way!

Great video. Question, how are you going to power the device when installed. I assume you supply 5V to the wires you soldered. Where does 5V come from?

Hi, what are you expecting the nodeMCU to do by default? They don’t do anything without some sort of program loaded, or arduino sketch putting on there
