How to Setup Pinion Angle and Rear Shock Mounts: 1940 Mercury

This time at the Quick Speed Shop I am setting the pinion angle and making some rear shock mounts for the 1940 Mercury hot rod sedan. Watch as I explain pinion angle in relation to transmission output shaft and use a magnetic angle finder to figure it out. Also finishing up the frame work with a crossmember for the rear shocks.

They are called Rotabroach. Sheet metal hole saw kit by Blair. 5/16-3/4" made in USA.

No. Never have done that on any of my builds. Not been an issue.
