I tried to followed the step and no issues I was encountered during the setup but after connecting to the vpn on the client side the internet was gone but the status is connected. Is there any settings first I need to check before to setup the vpn secure access to the insternet?

I followed step by step but my public IP is still visible

Same issue with my OpenVPN connection. Split tunnelling is turned OFF. But, IP does not change.
