Is Snapbridge different for each type of Nikon Camera. I have a CoolPix A1000 and I don't have menu's like this video at all. I have Snapbridge version 2.8.3 but I can't get it to work unless I uninstall, reinstall, and pair ... each time I use the camera. I've always been impressed with Nikon but this really has me soured.

Native ISO of your sensor is 200 or even 400. All settings below this is CHEMICAL mathematics leads to decreasing dynamic range. Use neutral filter instead.

@@molecula2215 Sorry, but that's nonsense. The native ISO of the sensor is 64. And a neutral density filter doesn't increase dynamic range, since it reduces the throughput of light linearly, also in the shadows. It can also lead to clipping in the shadows.

For me it works fine . The only issue I haven’t found answers for is shooting self portrait because when the camera is in vertical alignement the phone screen turns on the side so I can’t see myself unless I brake my neck on the side so it’s really frustrating ?

Hi. I rented a Nikon Z6ii camera and Nikon 400 mm lens. I want to use SnapBridge to set up a series of exposures from 1/1000th to 4 seconds (13 images). I need to do this remotely with the touch of a button. It’s for HDR photography of the eclipse. This equipment is new to me and I don’t think I can figure it out by myself. Images will be in RAW. If I shoot in raw, I am just able to use Bluetooth and the camera will convert the RAW to JPEG and and transfer the JPEG version of the raw to phone for web/sharing or do I need to enable wifi to JPEG transfer to set the camera to make RAW+JPEG?

I can not get my Z6ii to pair with snapbridge. Reset everything on both phone and camera and it locates the camera but never gets past the connecting circle.

I'm having a problem. Once I am remotely connected and shoot wireless, the first 2-megapixel image takes a lot of time to download, I mean, sometimes even up to 3 minutes. It used to download just fine in the past. Any recommendations?

I took some RAW photos on the Z5 and the file sizes were all over 30 MB. I downloaded them to my iPhone via Snapbridge and then uploaded them to Google Photos but they are now only 24 MP all of them? Is this normal? thanks

There is literally no point in Bluetooth connection, best option is to go directly to wi fi.

Hey there, sometimes that message comes up if you are in video mode. Make sure you are in photo mode.

I bought a D850 camera thinking i could transfer images to my PC via WiFi. It seems this is not possible. The only offering is snapbridge which requires ios 13 and my phone doesn't support that. I bought this camera with WiFi because i didn't want to use SD card readers or USB. Then i hear i have to buy an expensive WiFi device to do so. (Yet my camera already has WiFi?) So i ask: Did you cut off my WiFi potential in the hope i'd buy into this WiFi device that i must pay extortionate money for? Which when installed it doesn't even have a means to connect to a tripod and would be quicker to just give in and connect via USB? Worse still, i heard that It used to be possible in earlier version but was removed. Also, other DSLRs on your lineup allow this! Why does my D850 not?

2 comments: 1) For a non-techie guys, your video frames move too fast. I have to pause, play, pause to understand it. 2) If sharing is possible after taking the picture and getting it on your Android phone, then my qn is : Can the phone display it on the TV via Chromecast? I haven't tried it but I think it can. This will come handy when I take pics during family gatherings.

Sorry Neecon, your software stinks. Please go back to the drawing board and get it done right. And, maybe make a video with an expert who actually knows the camera and the software works or not, rather than just an actor.
