The hose on the Smith little torch is rated for acetylene and propane. The rosebud tips are different for propane and acetylene as well as the smallest tip. Cheers

200 kpa ? sounds very high for a little torch , i have mine set to 10kpa and it seems to work ok ? could you clarify ??

melting and soldering = might be bigger amounts = works well for me .

Operating instructions that come with the SLT state with a #6 tip the pressure is 6 psi (≈41 kPa). Oxygen at 200kPa is way too high for all tips. Check the tables on the last pages of the operating instructions for all regulator pressure settings
