Can you post a screenshot and maybe I can help... I am not sure why it would be getting stuck at 3/7. Try uninstalling the device from your Device Manager and try using an different USB port.

Were you able to fix the second controller issue? I had the same problem and honestly it was just a matter of continuing to hit the button every time the red light turned off, it probably took 5 tries or so until it went to 4/7 and so on. What might help, and I didn't try this myself but should have, is holding the PS button on the first paired controller for roughly ten second until it turns off then try to pair the second controller. After everything is said and done you can just turn the first controller back on via the Playstation button and switch between 0 and 1 to test both controllers (you will not need to pair again).

@@jraegames3804 I seem to be stuck on the 3/7 as well. I saw it jump to 4/7 on each controller stating paired successfully but then it goes back down to 3/7. I tried a new port and it didn't work :(. Also I saw your other video on calibrating the motion sensor while sitting, I see the green dots but it never moves on my headset. Does this affect my set up for beat saber if I don't have it calibrated?

I have ps move 3 and a psmove 4 the 4 connects but doesnt give me any options other than pair. The move 3 controller gets stuck at 4/7 then 6/7 but goes back to 4/7 when light stops blinking. I reformated win 10 3 times and even tried a spare usb blue tooth adapter and nothing works. Only controller i get to work is joycons from a switch. Not eve a wii motion plus remote works wii remote only works in dolphin wii emulator. Im about to give up.on the psvr setup anyway trinus doesnt work have to use ivry and every thing from controllers to where u standing is bacwords i have to turn around 180 which means my back is facing the kinnect and tracking gets messed up cuz it cant see my hands

keep pressing and windows might be asking if you want to pair in the backgreound. click yes but don't!!! click ok!!! leave that window open while it finishes. pair it again if it didn't work but dont click okay till it pairs.

I was also trying to connect my move controllers and I tried many things, but what fixed it was using a about a 3: cable. I tried four others and I kept reading about people saying it's the cable. So I searched my house for another cable and it happened to be longer than all the others. I don't know if it has to do with length, but a different cable did fix my problem immediately.

Hi James, after fixing my drift problems with your help I wanted to go into the PS Move business as well :) After almost 3 month of waiting due to delivery problems I finally got the controllers yesterday. I set everything up, but no controllers were shown in steam vr. I checked different videos, tried it with a camera - but never saw them. In PSMoveConfigTool everything was fine though. As the PS Button was working (opening/closing the big picture mode) I accidentally pressed the button a bit longer and i could see a line coming from over my head. I looked up an could see both controllers floating high above me :) There they are! But I couldn't figure out how to get them into a normal position :) But might be interesting for other people who can't find their controllers in steamvr. I also wanted to select that openvr beta you were talking of, but it only shows "beta - Steam VR Beta Update" and two MacOS Betas. Does that openvr beta still exist? Can I add more somehow? Looking forward to get this running. Gorn is waiting for me :D Thanks a lot for your awesome videos!

Okay I tested a bit more: the controllers only show up in steam when using the camera. Sadly I only have one PS3 Camera at the moment, but it should work with that... The Camera is shown high above me, too. Update: Okay, got my second ps3Eye today. Tracking works much better, but still the controllers and cameras are like 10 meters over my head in steam vr :-/

Hmmm... that is strange. You can run the Room Setup to adjust your heihgt and also use OpenVR Settings to fine tune your position in the chaperone.

Until now I always chose fixed position and only adjusted the height of the headset - and it was about the only option I had. Maybe I should try out the room setup. Another thing I'm unsure about is the positioning of my cameras - they are both on the table, left and right of my center monitor pointing slightly upwards. I've seen another video where the cameras were on top of the monitor pointing slightly down - would that make a difference? Is there any reference of how far away they should be? And should I point them both at me or straight forward to get a wider angle in total? Where can I find the OpenVR Settings? Do I need the OpenVR beta for that? I can't choose it in the list of available betas in steam. So many questions :D Thanks in advance! Update: Okay, I found a couple more videos that weren't shown in the video overview on your channel (or I was too stressed to find them :D ) where you explain the other things. So far I did everything accoring to your tutorials. So I'll try to change the position of my cameras. I'll write if that was the problem. Update2: So now the camera position is above my monitor. Calibration an stuff worked out fine, movement in PSMoveConfigTool was great, though I had to press the select button a lot of times to re-center. Back in Steam VR the Controllers were still above me, also pointing in weird directions. I tried holding the select button to center the view, but it doesn't seem to work outside of the config tool. I then pressed start and select and everything changed it's position - cameras and controllers. I did this several times and suddenly one of the controllers was really in front of me! I continued doing that until i could see both controllers in front of me. Sadly, as said before, the "hold select button to re-center" doesn't seem to work and so both controllers were pointing at different directions. For me it was good enough to start a test-run with Gorn. My in-game hands were in front of me, but in strange positions. I was able to pull levers and stuff, but it was really hard without centered Controllers. I think some more fine tuning is needed - but it's something :D Update 3: Okay, now I've watched your VRChat/PSMove tutorial and there you hold the controllers up to the headset and press start and select. Sadly steam doesn't show that instructions to do so :-/ Update4: I think that was the whole problem :D I'll check out in-game :) Much better now, but still not correct. I'll watch some more of your videos for enlightenment

Is there a tutorial anywhere for button mapping the psmove controllers for the original psmoveservice? I am using the old psmoveservice from your prior video and it works well using the mapping you provided for VR Chat but for the game The Wave VR the only thing the buttons do is teleport and I have no way to rotate my avatar body without actually turning my real life body, making playing seated very hard. Also, are the newer controllers of better quality? I still have the problem where one of my older controllers has no magnetometer and it constantly loses its orientation in space (becomes inverted). If the newer controllers are not using the magnetometer, did they find a workaround for the problem? Finding controllers with activated magnetometers seemed a real roll of the dice.

You can customize the button mapping yourself depending on the game you are playing. Since the new controllers do not have a magnetometer, you will probably not notice a huge difference. Try running the latest version of PSMoveSteamVRBridge and see if there are any improvements overall.

yes, it is HID service got updated in Windows Version 1809. Use that if you want to continue with results.

If you have a PSVR and a PS4 then you can just get Beat Saber in the PS4 store. The tracking depends on your background, Having a green screen behind you helps improve the tracking, though, a Oculus Quest or Oculus Quest 2 would be better at tracking.

+Saint Zero Z A webcam should work as long as you are using Zadig to apply the libusb0 driver. Be careful because it is tricky to revert back. Thanks for watching!
