connect ur computer to the modem n check the internet connection..if its droping contact ur isp...Else try upgrading the fimware in ur Router..U can find this in netgear website...Then Reset the Router n Reconfigure..I will work n it should work

i have that exact router. i have 2 laptops and 1 desktop. Ive had it for about 6 months now. but the little antenna appears to be malfunctioning. what do i do? is there a way to fix the antenna or replace it? because the rest appears to be working fine exept for the wireless signal? i need help

TELL ME IF THIS IS CORRECT: "first, plug in the 2 ethernet cables into the router from (modem to router ) and (router to PC second, shut off ur cable modem and shut down your router too and turn it on again turn it all back on and see if time warner or verizion vios catched ur IP to set up the internet conection for you then try to access the internet to see if its working IS THAT ALL CORRECT OR AM I MISSING SOMETHING? get the model number of the router you have and type this in on google "(model number) driver free download" then put it onto a cd so that you can always use it

You need to put an update to this video. When trying to access the routerlogin site, it asks for a username/password that Netgear does not provide. A friend had to tell me the default. Once there, it did not detect the internet at all although connecting the model directly to the computer works fine.
