When you're sewing the proper way, you spend as much time ironing than you do actually sewing. But, that's the best way the achieve a well sowed finished garment. If, in the end, it doesn't look lke you've made it yourself, than that means you did a really good job. Attentions to details is what makes the difference.

以前縫製会社でミシン踏んでました。ミシンさばき、すごいですが、ぴったり合うのは裁断が上手いからだと思う。裁断がキレイだと縫うのも楽だし、まち針不要です。一点モノ作るって全てにおいて極めていないとできない業ですね‼️

I very often end up with slight gaping at the neckline, and I mostly use readily available cotton bias tape. I am guessing the best practice is to make bias tape with the same fabric? Also, the tape seems narrow, is it about 2cm?

The raised Pink sewing guide is a great idea for maintaining a consistent seam. Is it layers of painters tape? After watching Bonnie Hunter videos, I've cleared my junk drawer of old Blockbuster, Walden's, Price Club, Borders, etc membership cards to use as a seam guide on my machine. Just never use fabric scissors to cut the card. An early on mistake of mine. Lol
