I'm new to making cloth pads. I am concerned that the outer fleece may not be waterproof enough, especially for incontinence. I understand having more flannel layers may help that, but still have some worries. I have viewed other tutorials where they use waterproof PUL. Do you have any insight into that product? I enjoyed your tutorial, keep up the great work!

Yes, you can absolutely add a layer of PUL. It's a fantastic product. I also have a video on how I see pads with PUL. I hope you'll find it useful. ❤️

Thank you! I am selling pads locally & I've been asked for the heavier pads but I was having trouble getting all the layers stable but your tips look like just what I needed! I never would have thought of washable glue!

Hi, the cotton, flannel and fleece I got from my local fabric store. The zorb you can buy only at wazoodle. com but you can use more layers of flannel instead of adding zorb if you can't get it. It will be a thicker pad, but will do the job. I'd say about 4-5 layers of Flannel as a core should work.

Hiya, thanks for the tutorial. Do you have a pattern for your pads that can be downloaded at all? I have been making my own through trial and error and I don't want to keep wasting zorb and PUL getting it wrong as its expensive. Thanks x

I don't have my own pattern. I use (mostly) patterns by Versodile. She has paid patterns on etsy, but also some free ones in the Facebook group, just search Versodile

Hi. I've started making these pads for myself. I was just wondering if the fleese that you uses at the bottom makes little wools that makes it not last that long? Thanks

I read somewhere else to use the anti pill fleece. I’ve been using that to make pjs for my toddlers & like the name says, there’s no pilling, so the pjs are holding up great. I’d imagine they would be long wearing for these too.

This is for moderate flow. For heavy, use more core or add layer of pul
