This is an excellent tutorial. I added a small loop to the front edge of the cover and a loop large enough to slip over my hand to the back cover. By sliding the large loop through the smaller one, I can easily carry the Bible without it popping open and dumping my notes.

Looked pretty proficient to me❣️ My grandmother was a seamstress, having designed and sewn all the original costumes for Silver Dollar City many, many, many years ago. She could also recover sofas and chairs, made custom drapes for Weaver's furniture in Branson and Hollister, etc; all that to say it was great watching you sew without having to pin every seam down before ironing and sewing. Grandma would have been proud of you❣️❣️

My Mom was a seamstress and yes, Sunday dresses were usually made overnight and I can still hear her peddling that Swinger sewing machine. Sewing was her passion and her embroidery work was incredibly beautiful. I tried to take an interest in seeing but as it went, Mom would end up finishing everything I started and it tore me up bc she was so talented and I had no interest. Years later I inherited a newer version of her many sewing machines and it sat unused for years. I really didn’t know what I was doing with a sewing machine I simply could not use, so sadly I gave it away and did have some regret. 😔 I love your covers and I think you can add some of those covers to your Etsy shop? I’m sure you’d sell out quick! Hope you’re feeling better and stronger each day! 🌻🌻🌻
