Hi friends! Today I’m creating a landscape with my smallest fabric scraps. I hope you’ll give it a try.

Aleene's Tacky Glue revolutionized the fiber arts, to be sure! Double fusible backing helped a lot, too!

I remember watching Aleene on tv when I was younger. I miss the arts and crafts shows.

@@cookingjennfer I do, too! My KZbin feed actually started showing the Carol Duvall show. It was a flashback to programs I used to watch in the middle 90's! Pretty fun.

Is t the sticky layer of the fusible difficult to stitch through? I’ve never tried it.
@cookingjennferАй бұрын
@@piano56781nope. I think it may come in different thicknesses but the one I use doesn’t give me any issues. Heat n bond lite.
@maryseaman312Ай бұрын
@@piano56781 on the positive side, this double fusible webbing is great with machine operators. The are a variety of weights, like light, medium, industrial strength; in clothing and quilting, this can make the fabric stiff. The only time I used it to appliqué some sunbonnet sues, I was assured that with washing, the stiffness disappears. I did not find it hard to hand stitch through - - as for the stiffness, I have yet to finish that quilt, so it has never been washed and I have no idea what will happen to it next. It didn't look like Miss Jenny had too difficult a time stitching through, but I did notice her needle was a bit bigger (but that could have been my imagination!). LOL

Todo me gusta,lo único es que no manejo muy bien el inglés y de repente no sé el nombre de esa tela como plástico que aparece en el video.❤

Thank you. It’s called heat n bond lite. That’s the brand name. It’s iron on adhesive. Thermoweb 17-Inch by 5-1/4-Yard Heat'n Bond Lite Iron-on Adhesive
