THANK YOU Vickie!!! CLEAR and Concise Directions! I've been sewing off and on for Darn near 40 yrs!! Found myself on a project that had a fly zipper...realized I've never tackled that. Can't be that hard right?!? Wrong!! I've 'tried to follow' 2 other tutorials One had No voice instructions just music and pointing with notes, The other...Just as frustrating!! You just whipped that out in NO-Time. Wish I found you first!!

Yes take the old zipper out. unstitch the front rise a little and the waistband just enough to put the new zipper up inside the waistband. should not be a problem

Great instructions for installing a men's zipper. Question: How/where do place/cut the "notch"? It seems to be critical. Is it below the zipper stop? And why did you omit the top stitching on the front of the jeans?

Hi Robert I always go below the Zipper Stop because I use metal zippers. if you use a Nylon zipper you can go above.
