How to sew a Hobo Bag + Make Hobo Bag Pattern from Scratch

My mother gave me several pieces of brand new curtain fabric she does not use anymore for creative projects, due to arthritis in her hands. It's the perfect fabric for this hobo bag! I just finished making one and it looks terrific. I did not attach the pocket, so my bag is reversible. Thanks so much for the pattern and the tutorial!

not upside down but on the wrong side of the lining :) Just stitch it to the right side and you'll be ok

It's on the inside of the bag You access it via the top of the bag, just as the main compartment

Nice pattern but I can’t sit through a tutorial with just music & no words. I do things while watching/listening so I have to be able to hear instruction instead of straight watching. The music is very distracting to me. I’m not trying to be ugly, just want to explain. I’m sure I am not alone when I say this as I’ve read comments on other tutorials that do the same. I love sewing & quilting tutorials & learning something new every day. Thanks for your valuable time. I know making tutorials is very time consuming.

To much for me. Maybe I'll just use a plastic grocery bag and cover it with duck tape..or glue it together with some cloth?? Your bag looks so nice and just what I want except I don't sew😢😢
