Hi, This video is great, I've never seen a cutting out tutorial (including part 1) with so much detail and precision! Can I ask, what is the difference between the stay tap used on the lapel line and around the edges of the bodice and the one used on the armhole ? They look different. Thanks so much!
@ateliersaison3 жыл бұрын
We don't know the exact words in English... Stay tape on the lapel line. The tape Stronger than Stay tape on the armhole.(Please refer to the image here. itoyasan-bobin.com/SHOP/7039.html) Thank you!!

Hello and thank you for this video. They are very clear and so far I understand everything and have learned so much. Except I'm confused. Can you explain what "adding fullness to the lining" means and why you folded over the lining seam allowances and pressed them like that?
@ateliersaison4 жыл бұрын
Hello, this is to give the lining some space. When you wear a jacket and move your arms, you need its some space. Thank you.

@ateliersaison6 жыл бұрын
@@darrentrentacosta This needle and threads point is used for some purposes on case by case. For starting sewing is right. Attaching and making pockets, attaching the sleeve to the bodice, also. We use the needle and threads on important points.

Hi. Love it! It's very informative. Could you please explain the purpose of the thread from 9:45?

About cutting thread ?? It means that line is put stay tape. It is easy to pull the thread after sewing. That's it. Thank you so much for your kindess.

I loooooove this work. I'd like to ask, do you first cut patterns a little big along with the stick fabric (I speak spanish so i dont know his english name) then like you say in this video you adjust cutting, right? If it is as I say, it is to avoid the fabric from shrinking?? 🤩🤩🤩
@ateliersaison4 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is right. We need to put the interfacing on the wrong side of some parts of main fabric after cutting fabric. When putting the interfacing, we need to apply heat of the iron, which causes the fabric to shrink. We calculate how it shrinks and cut a little larger. Thank you !!😀
@CrlsE0944 жыл бұрын
Awesome craft!!, I'm a little confused, do you make a knot on the white threads or are only loose threads? why do you put those little white threads on the patterns?. And why did you pinch it with the tip, on video 1?.. hehe I'm just curious.
@SUNIT0523 жыл бұрын
thread is probably placed there to mark important points on the fabric. No knot so the paper can be removed.

We have a lot of stay tapes. We change according to the fabric and category, etc. "SANKEI" is famous in Japan. This is their web site about the stay tape below. www.sankeicoltd.co.jp/en/en_product/en_insidebelt.html Thank you😁😁

It helps to sew the lining around the other way so that the ease is on the bottom the feeders take in more material on the bottom than the top.

You go to school and learn how to design your own pattern, fashion school. Or you can buy a commercial pattern. you got to follow their instruction and must know how to sew it, lol !!
