Whoa, stop the press, are those *mushroom cap* weights?! 😍💚. I know what I want now, whether that’s correct or not, lol. Those sleeves tho. I just got some pink faux leather on discount (it had gray marks from the black roll next to it), so I was looking for any tips/tricks working with it & found this video. If I were’t pretty dedicated to lolita fashion I would def be making that dress, but my skirt needs are for much fuller. That’s a killer dress, tho, dayum. Might buy the pattern just for the perfectness of those sleeves as I am tired of ineptly figuring it out myself. 😅🤦‍♀️ Maybe mess around with ‘slash&spread’ later. On like, a sheer or something. I just use muslin for all my woven (or very slight stretch) prototypes! Very cheap and gets the job done.
