I remember making these in my church girls' club for Christmas gifts for people in a local nursing home. Now that I'm old, I find I use these little packets in my purse or pocket and thought I'd refresh my memory on how to make them. They will make nice little gifts for my old lady friends!

Several (non-tutorial) directions don't even give you those small yet very beneficial details like; reinforcement stitch, nor the fold in the middle guide tip either that makes it so much more easier and better quality. Thank you!!

I've been looking for something simple to make for my local animal charity Christmas fair in a couple of weeks. These wee tissue holders look to be just the ticket, especially as none of the stitching is showing on the outside, as it is with other You Tube videos. Many thanks.
@carolcooper80106 жыл бұрын
I'm making them for exactly the same reason. A better idea though is not to make them big enough to take a package of tissues - just make them big enough for a half dozen folded tissues taken from a big box. This is more environmentally friendly (no plastic packaging) and also more economical.

Thank you very much! After I ran across this tutorial, I watched several more of your sewing videos. I really enjoy and appreciate your style. I feel like I have a chance at success since your explanations are so clear and thorough. I went ahead and subscribed, even though I don't make cards, because I'm hoping you'll do some more videos aimed towards sewing. If you do any quilting, I would love to see that, too! Again, thank you so much for your help!!
