How to Sew a pyramid pouch by Debbie Shore

This was demonstrated in a live chat, this time it's without the chat!
Materials:
2 x 8" [20cm] squares of outer fabric
2 x 8" [20cm] lining fabric
2 x 8" [20cm] squares fusible fleece [H630]
4 x 2" [5cm] pieces of outer fabric for the zip tabs
3" x 10" [7.5cm x 25cm] strip of fabric for the strap
10 zip [or longer!]

I make these in all sizes. They are incredibly useful for storage, doggy-do bag holders, device cords, wonder clip holders etc. I also use a longer zip. I use the waste part of the zip for the loop by separating the waste zip into its two halves. They are my favourite quick go-to make and a fabulous use for scrap fabric. You can use two different main fabrics for an interesting result. Thanks for the excellent instructions.

Love the tutorials without the live chat! This is cute. I think this project would be wonderful for my grand daughter's little bits and pieces of "treasures" she insists on carrying around!

Thanks for this Debbie - my first one has turned out beautifully. I particularly like the tabs covering the zip ends because it really gives a neat finish. One of my problems with inserting zips is that they often look bunched up at the ends, but this is perfect.

Hi Debbie, lovely little pyramid pouch, it would be ideal for children to keep their treasures in. I like the idea that it can be made any size to be given as a gift. You used a pretty fabric. Thank you for sharing.
