Thank you so much for sharing your techniques and knowledge with us. I hope uou can help me with my problem, though. I've been searching and searching for a video on how to use the French Curve ruler which tells you how you determine which numbers you use to measure the curve. IE: When you are drafting a sleeve pattern, how do you determine what measurement number on your ruler should be your starting point and ending point ? I hope you understand the question I'm asking here. And, i hope you can answer the question as, in my searching, I've been unable to find any video which answers that question for me. But, thank you either way. I fo appreciate your help with this. 😻❣️🥰👍

Neat! Can you explain a bit about finishing an edge that you've also clipped into? That part didn't quite make sense to me since I assume the clipping would get in the way...

You will still have clips as far as you clipped them but finishing the edge will prevent it from fraying inside. The best was to finish it clean would be to add a lining with everything concealed inside.

I know it's an "advanced" technique but I feel like yoloing the piping and just feeding it in as you sew is actually easier than trying to pin it first, especially if you have a groove-style piping foot. Also there's something unsettling about how your machine does back stitches at the start of a seam. Every time you do it, it looks like it's short-feeding and about to pile a bunch of stitches on top of each other and make a huge tangled knot. (To be honest I think there's a bunch of features on that machine that would drive me crazy, like the auto-hovering presser foot and the weirdly slow rube goldberg thread cutter. I'm sure it's fine if you're used to it, but that machine definitely won't be on my shopping list any time soon!)
