READ THIS FOR FURTHER CLARIFICATION Hi guys! Just to clarify and explain further. When you buy pants; you’ll notice that the back piece is usually larger than the front piece, you can check any store bought pair you have. To get the back hip; divide the total hip by 4 and then add 0.25” while for the front hip; you divide the total hip by 4 then subtract 0.25” E.g Hip =40” Back hip 10.25” Front hip is 9.75” While for the waist. Front waist is waist divided by 4 then add 0.25” Back waist is waist divided by 4 minus 0.25” Example Waist 28” Front waist 7.25” Back waist 6.75” Total of front waist and back waist is 14 and remember you’re cutting 2 of each so you still have 28”. Hey Mama! So let’s say your hip is 40” By nature of trousers, the front is usually smaller than the back So front hip is 40/4-0.25 =9.75 Back hip is 40/4+0.25 = 10.25 In the end, you still get 40 when you cut two of the front and two of the back & add it all together I hope this helps.
